Buyer Assurance FAQs
What happens if the transfer fails and it's not my fault?
If we are unable to complete the transfer due to any breach of our seller warranties — including providing an incorrect auth code, domain being subject to an undisclosed hold, or failing to respond — you receive a full refund within 5 business days, plus you may recover actual documented costs up to $500 CAD. See Legal Agreement §4.3.
What if a UDRP challenge is filed against my domain after I buy it?
All domains we list are, to our actual knowledge at time of sale, free from existing UDRP proceedings. If a challenge was already active and we failed to disclose it, our liability includes a full purchase price refund. Post-sale challenges based on your own use of the domain are your responsibility as the new owner. See §13.
Can I verify the domain is owned by Globe Media International Corporation before paying?
Yes — you can perform a free WHOIS lookup at whois.com or your registrar of choice to verify current registration details. All listed domains are owned by Globe Media International Corporation. Contact us before purchase if you have any questions about a specific domain.
What if the domain expires during my installment plan?
We are committed to maintaining the domain registration in good standing for the full duration of your installment plan. Domain renewal costs are our responsibility, not yours, during the installment period.
Is Globe Media International Corporation a real company?
Yes. Globe Media International Corporation is a federally registered Canadian corporation based in Toronto, Ontario. All domain sales are conducted under this legal entity.
What if I have a concern not covered here?
Please contact us — we are happy to address any questions before you purchase. You may also review our full Domain Sale Agreement for complete legal terms.
