Frequently Asked Questions
What currency are prices in?
All domain prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). If you are paying via PayPal from another country, PayPal will handle the currency conversion at their current rate. Any conversion fees are the buyer's responsibility.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. We never collect or store credit card details. All payments go directly through PayPal (TLS-encrypted) or Escrow.com. We receive only a payment confirmation notification.
What happens if I miss an installment payment?
There is a 10-day grace period. If payment is still not received by day 11, a formal default notice is sent by email. You have a further 15 days to cure the default. If uncured, the plan is cancelled, a 50% administrative fee is retained, and the remaining 50% of amounts paid is refunded. See our Legal Agreement §10 for full details.
Can I use the domain while on an installment plan?
No. The domain remains registered in our name and under our control until all installment payments are received in full. Transfer happens only after the final payment is confirmed.
Can I pay off my installment plan early?
Yes — you may pay the remaining balance in full at any time with no early payment penalty. Contact us at info@tldsales.net to arrange early payoff.
Are there refunds?
All sales are final once the domain transfer process has been initiated. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of payment if the transfer has not yet started. See §7 of our Legal Agreement for full refund terms.
Why Escrow.com for high-value domains?
For transactions over $25,000 CAD, Escrow.com holds the buyer's funds in a secure third-party account. Funds are released to the seller only after the domain has been successfully transferred and confirmed by the buyer. This protects both parties equally.
